Add WeekAtSea to your website

One line of HTML gives your visitors an AI charter assistant. It finds yachts with live prices and free weeks across Croatia, answers questions about boats, bases and sailing areas, and passes booking requests to our reservations team.

The chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of this page is the real thing, exactly what your visitors will see. Try it.

Quick start

  1. Ask us to enable your website. Email support@lomboos.com with every address your site opens under. https://www.example.com and https://example.com count as two different addresses, so send both if both work. The chat only answers on websites we've enabled.
  2. Paste this line into your site's HTML, just before the closing </body> tag, on every page where the chat should appear:
    <script src="https://weekatsea.com/widget.js" async></script>
  3. Done. Reload your site: a chat bubble appears in the bottom-right corner.

No account, API key or client ID is needed. We recognise your website from the address the chat runs on, which is also how conversations from your site are attributed to you.

Keep the async attribute. It lets the chat load without slowing your page down, and the chat relies on it to work out which server it came from.

Where to paste the code

Most website builders have a place for code that runs on every page, usually called custom code, code injection or footer code. Paste the line there, in the footer / end-of-body slot:

PlatformWhere
WordPressA header-and-footer code plugin (paste into the footer section), or your theme's footer.php just before </body>.
WixSettings → Custom Code → Add Custom Code, placed in Body – end, on all pages.
SquarespaceCode Injection → Footer.
WebflowSite settings → Custom code → Footer code, then publish.
ShopifyOnline Store → Themes → Edit code → theme.liquid, just before </body>.
Your own HTMLJust before </body> in your page template.

Menu names change from time to time; if you can't find the spot, your platform's help pages will have it under "custom code".

A full-page chat

Want a dedicated "Find your yacht" page where the chat is the main content, like on weekatsea.com? Add an empty element where the chat should go, and point the script at it:

<div id="weekatsea-chat" style="height: 80vh; max-width: 1000px; margin: 0 auto;"></div>
<script src="https://weekatsea.com/widget.js"
        data-mode="page"
        data-target="#weekatsea-chat"
        data-title="Yacht charter assistant"
        async></script>

Open the chat from your own buttons

Any button or link on your site can open the chat with a question already sent, for example a "Find me a catamaran" button next to a holiday article:

<button onclick="LomboosChat.ask('Catamaran for 8 people in July near Split')">
  Find me a catamaran
</button>

LomboosChat.ask(text) opens the chat and sends text as the visitor's message. It's available once the script has loaded, so call it from a click, not straight away on page load.

All options

Options are attributes on the script tag. None are required.

AttributeEffect
data-mode="page"Full-page chat instead of the bubble. Needs data-target.
data-target="#id"CSS selector of the element the full-page chat goes into.
data-title="…"Title in the chat header (full-page chat).

Languages

The chat speaks English, Croatian and German. It starts in the visitor's browser language, switches to whatever language the visitor writes in, and the visitor can change it from the header. There's nothing to configure.

Content Security Policy

Most sites don't have one, so skip this unless your developer set up a Content-Security-Policy header. If you have one, allow:

script-src  https://weekatsea.com;
connect-src https://weekatsea.com;
img-src     https://ws.nausys.com;
style-src   'unsafe-inline';

connect-src is for the chat's messages, img-src for boat photos, and style-src 'unsafe-inline' because the chat ships its own stylesheet. The chat runs in an isolated Shadow DOM, so your site's CSS can't break it and its CSS can't touch your site.

Your privacy policy

The chat is provided by Lomboos, so mention it in your own privacy policy. A sentence you can adapt:

Our website uses WeekAtSea, an AI yacht charter assistant provided by
Lomboos d.o.o. (Zagreb, Croatia). What you write in the chat, and the
technical data described in the WeekAtSea Privacy Policy, is processed by
Lomboos to answer you and, when you ask for it, to pass your booking
request to the reservations team: https://weekatsea.com/privacy

Troubleshooting

The chat bubble doesn't appear

The bubble appears, but the chat only shows an error

Your website's address isn't enabled yet, or only one variant of it is (with or without www). Email us the exact address shown in your browser's address bar.

We added the chat before, from chat.lomboos.com

It keeps working, and there's nothing you have to do. When you next edit your site, you can switch the address in the script line to https://weekatsea.com/widget.js.
