Delete your WeekAtSea data
You can ask us to delete everything WeekAtSea holds about you at any time: your conversations, the contact details you gave us, and any booking requests stored with them. You don't need to give a reason.
How to request deletion
Email support@lomboos.com with the subject "Delete my WeekAtSea data", and tell us how we can find you:
- if you chatted on Instagram: your Instagram username (for example @yourname);
- if you chatted on weekatsea.com or another website: the email address or phone number you gave the assistant, and roughly when you chatted.
We'll confirm by email once your data has been deleted, within one month at the latest and usually within a few days. If we can't be sure a request comes from you, we may ask one short question to verify it before we delete anything.
What gets deleted
- Your conversations with the assistant, and the record of your Instagram thread with us.
- Your name, email address and phone number, and any follow-up notes our team made.
- Booking requests stored with your conversation. If a request was already sent to the reservations team, we'll forward your deletion request to them as well.
What we can't delete
- Messages in your own Instagram inbox. Those are stored by Meta; you can delete the conversation in the Instagram app.
- Records we must keep by law, for example accounting records for a booking you actually made. We keep only what the law requires, for as long as it requires.
Chatted on our website without leaving any contact details? Then nothing we hold identifies you by name. You can still clear the chat from your browser at any time with the ↻ (start over) button in the chat.
Connected Instagram accounts
If you connected your own Instagram professional account to WeekAtSea (for example as a partner), you can disconnect it at any time in Instagram under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, or email us. When an account is disconnected, we delete its access token and stop receiving its messages.
